RENTING A STORAGE UNIT


How do I rent a storage unit?

When you find the storage unit that’s right for you, you can rent it by filling out the form online or give us a call at 704-259-3443.

Do I need to sign a long-term lease?

At C&C Storage, we offer month-to-month leases, allowing you to have flexibility when it comes to managing your storage account. Avoid large deposits or unnecessary lease terms and only pay for storage when you need it.

When can I move in?

If there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs, rent your unit online and get all the information you need to move into your new storage unit in just a few clicks!

Do you sell boxes?

No. We are a remotely managed company and therefore do not supply boxes or storage supplies. This includes boxes, dollies, and handcarts.

How do I make a payment?

Seamlessly pay your bill online with our secure and convenient online bill pay system. If you don’t want to pay online, you can mail in a check or money order or pay by Venmo.

Are there any items that are prohibited to store?

Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials, and perishables are items that aren’t allowed in any of our storage facilities. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

Do you offer secure storage features?

Yes! When you rent with C&C Storage, you can have peace of mind knowing our remotely managed facilities are fully fenced with individual keypad entry, as well as digital video recording.

How do I know what size of storage unit to rent?

Our storage units range in size from 5×5 to 10×20, comparable to a walk-in closet all the way up to a large garage. To better narrow down which storage unit size would be best for you, our storage unit size guide can help.

How much notice do you need before I move out?

All of our leases are on a month-to-month basis. However, we do request at least 10 days notice before moving out of one of our storage units.

Tips to Storing That Save You Time and Money


  • Store couches on end to save room.
  • Use furniture covers to protect your items.
  • Clear a path down the center of your unit to easily reach items.
  • Cushion fragile items and keep them towards the top so they don’t break.
  • Store valuable items towards the back to avoid tempting someone to steal.
  • Fill boxes to capacity so they don’t tip or collapse.
  • Store items you  need to access frequently toward the front of your unit.
  • Pack boxes evenly and fully.
  • Label boxes and keep a list of items in each box so you know where everything is placed.
  • Measure the length, width and height of the largest item that you will need to store. This will show you the smallest unit size you could take.
  • Do not store anything flammable.
  • Take things apart, such as bed frames. It will help with space.
